Hello, we are File Recovery - Photo Recovery (“Application” or “We”), developed by Absolute Media Inc. This Privacy Policy is meant to help you understand how we collect and use the personal information you provide when you access our Services through this application.

For a better experience, while using our Service, I may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to Access to All Files. The information that I request will be retained on your device and is not collected by me in any way.

Permission Usage Explanation

Storage Permissions

READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, READ_MEDIA_IMAGES, READ_MEDIA_VIDEO, READ_MEDIA_AUDIO, MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
These permissions are required to scan, access, recover, manage, and delete photos, videos, audio files, documents, APKs, and other files stored on the user’s device. This enables features such as deleted file recovery, duplicate file cleanup, large file management, and storage analysis.

Network Permissions

INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, ACCESS_WIFI_STATE, CHANGE_NETWORK_STATE, CHANGE_WIFI_STATE
These permissions are used to check network connectivity, display network information, load online content, and support app updates and advertisements.

Phone State Permission

READ_PHONE_STATE
Used to obtain basic device and network information for analytics, stability, and ad-related purposes. No call data or personal phone information is accessed.

System Alert & Settings Permissions

SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW, WRITE_SETTINGS
Used to display helpful system-level prompts and allow certain app features to guide users to system settings when required for recovery and file access.

Boot & Background Permissions

RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED, WAKE_LOCK, FOREGROUND_SERVICE, FOREGROUND_SERVICE_DATA_SYNC
These permissions allow the app to continue necessary background operations such as scanning, syncing, and restoring data without interruption.

Notifications

POST_NOTIFICATIONS
Used to notify users about scan progress, recovery results, and important app updates.

Advertising & Analytics

com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID, ACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_ID, ACCESS_ADSERVICES_ATTRIBUTION, ACCESS_ADSERVICES_TOPICS
Used to display relevant ads and measure ad performance in compliance with Google Play policies. Users can opt out of ad personalization.

Log Data

I want to inform you that whenever you use my Service, in a case of an error in the app I collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing my Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

Cookies

Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory.

This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the app may use third-party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services. Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case I discover that a child under 13 has provided me with personal information, I immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact me so that I will be able to do the necessary actions.
